Overview
Medical Transcription is not a complete medical science-related subject but it requires good knowledge of the medical terminology. The job of a medical transcriptionist is to convert the dictated or hand written medical record by the doctor on a computer. This requires knowledge in English & computer and also in the medical terminology with accurate spellings. The doctor will be dictating or write these things in order to maintain a historical record of the patients.

The course is conducted by the Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) and is run in accordance with their guidelines by Asian Institute of Allied Health Sciences. Rules and regulations framed by Asian Institute of Allied Health Sciences for this purpose will be binding on the students.

Eligibility
- Basic educational qualification. The applicant should have passed in 10+2 passed with any stream.
