Overview

This course offers you the best of technical knowledge. In addition to classroom lectures and discussions, the course involves guided practical training in the various techniques and procedures of diagnostic imaging. This may involves the use of X-ray or other methods such as ultrasonography (ultrasound or U.S.G), magnetic resonance imaging (M.R.I) and computed Tomography (C.T. Scan), students are trained to produce images of the highest quality while providing the necessary care for the patient.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

Conducted by IMA/ BSS
The course is conducted by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) / Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) and is run in accordance with their guidelines by Asian institute of Allied Health Sciences , Faridabad 21-A . Rules and regulations framed by Asian Institute of Allied Health sciences for this purpose will be binding on the students.

Course Duration

IMA / BSS conduct annual examinations after completion of the first and second years of training. These generally commence on the Last week of April/ July. Upon completion of the course and having passed all the examinations the candidate will be eligible to receive the diploma from IMA/BSS

  • Shoulder responsibility for the welfare of patients undergoing the listed investigations including radiation protection.

Eligibility

  • Basic educational qualification: The applicant should have passed 10+2 with Physics, chemistry, Biology from a recognized board of examination with 50% marks.
  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age and must less than 25 years of age on the date of commencement of the course.
