Celebration of World Kidney Day

World Kidney Day is a global health awareness campaign focusing on the importance of the kidneys. The day is observed every year on the second Thursday of March. Every year, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences marks this day as part of its efforts to raise awareness about the risk factors for chronic kidney disease and also to educate dialysis and renal transplant patients for leading a normal life. The hospital invited RJ Naved to anchor the programme and celebrated the occasion with special events and awareness raising activities by Renal failure patients.
